Sky News Australia – The first wooden satellite is being launched into space which was previously thought to be impossible due to the degradability of timber, according to ANU astrophysicist and cosmologist Dr Brad Tucker.
Interesting re-entry concept, but kind of seems like a waste to design such a short-lived satellite rather than something that can be repurposed in orbit. Especially given the cost of the space taken up on the launch vehicle.
Hahahahaha I’ve hurd some rubbish in my life but this is next level.
